Brand development and application across print, signage and digital for a new destination brewery in Bedford.

Wells & Co (formerly Charles Wells) were investing £14 million in a new brewery in Bedford. They needed an identity for the new brand which would mark the Brewpoint out as modern and fresh but with a nod to their 150 years of brewing experience.

The new logo combines the five generations of brewing, Charles Wells’ seafaring history, the premium cue of a star shape and a clear indication of a destination to tell the story of the new brewery.

Wells & Co say: “Carli Pfurtscheller was instrumental in helping devise a new look for our new HQ. After being wowed by her initial submission for a potential Brewpoint logo, we were keen to work more closely with Carli in devising all of the ‘wayfinding’ for the site, including vinyl decals for the beer garden and restaurant, bar and brewery tour signage. Carli has also since turned her hand to creating the packaging for the very first beers to be brewed; if you’ve enjoyed a pint of On Point by now then you’ve seen the fruits of her labour.”
